Hi, I’m Sammi!
& the two boys above are my world. I can’t tell you much about me without also mentioning them. I am a mama who centers her days around a darling & wild four year old, he is the biggest helper & best forehead smoocher. My husband works in the aerospace industry during the day & comes home to do projects with me at night. We are the type of parents who play with a lot of tractors, trucks & trains. We own a small zoo, home to one dog, one cat & a whole lot of chickens. It has always been our dream to own land & rebuild a house, so in 2018 we made that dream come true & have been working on our forever home ever since.
Enough about them, you’re hiring me, not my family. I drink a lot of Dr Pepper, stay up till 2 am most nights (working on your beautiful photos!) & I rarely wear make up or do much to my hair. I will always show up to your session with a lot of enthusiasm because I’m generally a pretty enthusiastic person. I love traveling, mowing the lawn, spending time with my grandma, editing & avoiding our massive laundry pile. My life is pretty chaotic, but my pantry is super organized, so at least I have that. While anywhere, I am always spotting places I want to shoot, like seriously, I can’t even walk into a home improvement store without thinking the lighting section would be perfect for a quirky family session. I only host TWO mini events a year because I prefer spending a whole night with people & getting to know them. I like talking, a lot. I don’t get enough adult time during the week so I jump at the idea of real conversations with my clients on the weekends. So if we haven’t met yet,
